Research-to-Draft Pipeline¶
What It Is¶
The foundational content generation workflow:
1. Search — run multiple web search queries on the topic
2. Fetch — read and extract from top results
3. Save — save structured research notes
4. Draft — write first draft from research
5. Send — deliver for human review ("I'll specify" — human approves direction before final)
Key Pattern: Human Check-In¶
The pipeline is designed for human check-in at the draft stage. "I'll specify" is explicit — the agent produces a draft, the human reviews the direction, then the agent finalizes. Never fully automated to final without human sign-off.
How It Applies to Marketing Factory¶
Every marketing content piece should follow this pipeline:
- Research: competitor content, audience pain points, SEO keywords
- Fetch: top-ranking articles, customer interviews, analyst reports
- Save: structured brief or research doc
- Draft: first draft (blog post, email sequence, ad copy)
- Review: human approves before formatting and publishing
